HuffPo is starting to cover local news by adding a Chicago section

I’m really interested in seeing how this pans out.

This business model is awesome: find a cheap young editor who will scour the internet to find content to fill out any pointed vertical (local, green, whatever) and write the majority of the “posts” (an extra pageview that uses the first three paragraphs or so if the source article copied and pasted with really well SEO’d tags) and you use the strength of your brand to monetize the shit out of all the new traffic. So good.
