PaidContent interviews Jeremy Allaire, CEO of BrightCove, on the way they positioned themselves in the online video market.

Seems like they have a good head on their shoulders as far as product development and do a good job in scaling their business by casting a wide net and then figuring out where they can really dominate the market and putting all of their efforts into those particular channels.

Also, not to seem like a huge BD hater, but I had no idea he was an investor, and on the board, for BrightCove, I wonder if there was ever a conflict of interest with what direction he wanted Vimeo to go into because of that, maybe pushing it in a more consumer direction (what I would think would be a harder market to get any sort of share in)?
