Microsoft is looking to dump a lot of money into some established webproperty.
They’re looking to “NewsCorp” a property.
That particular use doesn’t work, but I think there’s something there to using Murdoch and co.’s online acquisition strategy (early, big and relatively cheap) as a trendsetting verb.
