I had heard that he had shot an album cover with Denzel yesterday for something called American Gangster, but I assumed it was for the soundtrack of the movie of the same name, especially considering the fact that Denzel is in the movie and “Heart of the City (Ain’t No Love)” was in the trailer , I thought that there was no way that he was doing a new album, maybe new songs (something like what Bad Boy did for Bad Boys II), but not a whole record.

Today he’s shooting a new video, which I thought was for the ‘I Get Money’ remix, but considering the Pharrell produced single is leaking/coming out today, it’s very possible they could be shooting a video for this track.

UPDATE: It’s been confirmed that Jay’s filming the video for his new single “Blue Magic” tomorrow, he’s also been recording, as recently as this week, at some studio that’s not BaseLine.
