There were 36 eight-minute episodes (webisodes) produced, so that means if they want them to be a half hour each on TV, NBC would have about 13 episodes worth of content— about what they would have produced if it were a midseason replacement. I loved the first season of Friday Night Lights, so much so that I would say that it was better than the first season of The Wire*, that being said, this current season has been one of those most frustrating things to watch on TV ever. It’s frustrating to see one terribly overdramatic and unbelievable plot point resolved (the Landry situation) and then see two completely new absurd ones...
